Introduction

UBCI (Uganda Business Clinic Initiative Ltd) is a not-for-profit membership company limited by guarantee and duly registered under the Companies Act with registration number 118020. It was incorporated in 2010.

Over the past 15 years, UBC1 has been involved in business clinics and training of 1500 UBCI members across sectors, organised the UBCI 360 DEGREES EXCELLENCY AWARDS, where distinguished members, especially women and companies, were nominated for their outstanding and exemplary service to humanity

This is an event held annually in recognition of SMEs and proprietors whose business capital and investments are below 300,000 dollars or 1 billion Uganda Shillings.

COUBCI AND UBCICO

The conference and the convention facilitate the review of existing legislation in line with UBCI’s activities: ESG, Registration, Income Tax, etc.

We facilitate the members of UBCI with business registration and incorporation of their companies.

We leverage knowledge in research, economics, accounts, management, and law to provide productivity improvement programs

We ensure that ESG activities are carried out under UBCI’s management, in fulfillment of its mandate under the law.

UBCI promote equity and equality among beneficiaries and to curb fraud is the genesis of legal aid for members.

This involves navigating the legal framework and informing members and intending members of the opportunities available in both the government and private sectors.
